Getting Started with Your New Phones

Change Voicemail PIN

1. Press the Message or Envelope icon on your phone. If you don’t see this key, you can dial 9901.
2. Enter the default PIN, 7829, followed by the # key.
3. Press 5 for the option menu.
4. Press 1 to change your PIN.

Record your Voicemail Greeting

1. Press the Message or Envelope icon on your phone. If you don’t see this key, you can dial 9901
2. Enter your PIN followed by the # key.
3. Press 6 to change your greeting.
4. Press 1 to record your greeting.
5. Record your greeting and press # when finished.
6. Press 1 to save the recording.

Retrieve your Voicemail

You can access your voicemail by pressing the Message or Envelope button on your phone. You may also dial 9901.

Placing a Call

Pickup the handset or press the speaker button and dial the number you wish to call. It is not necessary to dial 9.

Answering a Call

Pickup the handset or press the speaker button.

Placing a Call on Hold

During a call press the Pause button or Hold key displayed on the menu.

Retrieve a Call on Hold

Press the Resume key.

Transfer a Call

Announced Transfer 

This feature allows you to speak with the person you are transferring the call to before sending it.

1. Press Transfer. This automatically puts the caller on Hold.
2. Dial the extension or phone number and press Send to call.
3. Press Transfer to send the held call.

Blind Transfer/Quick Transfer 

This feature sends a transferred call without needing to speak to the other user ahead of time.

1. Press the Transfer button.
2. Press the Blind soft key and dial the extension or phone number.
3. Press the Send key.

Transfer directly to voicemail

This will transfer the call directly to another extensions voicemail

1. Press the Transfer button.
2. Press the Blind soft key and dial 7<extension>.
3. Press the Send key.

Call Forwarding

Yealink Phones (Most models)

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Select Features.
3. Select Call Forwarding.
4. Select which type of call forwarding you would like to set.
5. Enable or Disable forwarding and enter the number you would like to forward calls to.
6. Press Save.
