Releasing Emails Marked as Spam

Sometimes ProofPoint will mark emails you might need as spam, you can release them on your own via this method.


  1. Open this link and log in to ProofPoint using your email and password you created

This password may be different from your email password, if you can’t log in please click “Forgot Password” and follow the steps given to reset it.


  1. On the left, check the box next to the email(s) that you want to release

  1. Above the emails, select the drop down labelled “Actions” and then select “Release from Quarantine”

If emails from the same sender keep getting quarantined you can select “Release and approve” which will whitelist the sender.
